news.BioTek Instruments, Inc. (BioTek Instruments) has appointed Millennium Science Pty. Ltd. (Millennium), as their distributor in New Zealand. As per agreement, Millennium now retains responsibility for sales and support of the entire BioTek Instruments' line of microplate-based instrumentation and software across the Tasman.

“Millennium has a strong focus on applications with expert technical sales and support. They are a natural fit for BioTek as we grow in Australasia,” noted Dominic Herring, business development manager of BioTek Instruments Singapore. “By having dual representation pan-Tasman, our customers will have access to greater levels of support, which is critical as life science and biotech collaborations between the two nations continue to increase.”
Millennium Science, established in 1999, is a distribution company to the Australasian Life Science market.
BioTek Instruments designs, manufactures and sells microplate instrumentation and software.
