Standing Stone launches new diabetic therapy tool

Standing Stone, a provider of disease state management solutions, has launched its new DMClinic software application.

Standing Stone’s DMClinic will help hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities manage their inpatient and outpatient diabetic patients.

The full-featured software combines point-of-service testing for HgbA1C and glucose with computerized decision support, providing a web-based, customizable approach to both therapy management and documentation.

Standing Stone said that DMClinic is the latest in a series of clinical support disease management applications that includes CoagClinic and CholesterolClinic. Installing DMClinic’s HL7 interface enables automatic synchronization of data throughout the organization.

Mark Wurster, chief medical officer of Standing Stone, said: “We hope that this application proves to be as successful as CoagClinic and CholesterolClinic in terms of improving the delivery of health care.”
