eFoodSafety.com has reported successful studies illustrating Citroxin's ability to eradicate the H5N1 avian influenza also known as bird flu virus in a chick embryo model.

Preliminary studies were conducted at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, one of a few labs in Asia used by the US Centers of Disease Control (CDC) to conduct research on treatments of H5N1.
