Cenduit unveils new clinical trial forecasting service

Cenduit has launched a new study simulation and forecasting service, which will allow clinical trial sites to better plan and control supplies for their patients.

Cenduit chief executive officer Jogin Desai said clinical trials are complex than ever and a reliable clinical trial supply strategy is important to study success.

"The simulation and forecasting models, integrated with the patient randomization and drug allocation services inherent in our IRT systems, allow the complete coordination of procurement, packaging and logistics, with supply requirements from the sites themselves continuously factored in," Desai added.

"By integrating forecasting and simulation parameters into the IRT system, patients will receive the right treatment on time, every time and at the lowest cost."

The new system lowers the risk of drug supply overage and outages at sites and increases drug development using enhanced supply chain productivity.

It also helps clinical trial supply coordinators to examine different supply modes before applying them as well as to identify the risks involved with any supply strategy in advance.

Cenduit’s IRT solutions facilitate optimized clinical supply chain management and provide precise control over patient randomization and drug administration for efficient, compliant trials.
