China, Cuba enter manufacturing agreement

China's Lukang Pharmaceutical and Cuba's Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology have entered into a cooperation agreement to manufacture and market biotechnology products.

Cuba’s Ministry of Information and Communications and China’s Inspur Electronic Information Industry said they wanted to develop bilateral trade, reports Indo-Asian News Service.

Shandong deputy governor Cai Limin said trade between Cuba and Shandong province reached nearly $100m in 2011.

Entrepreneurs from both countries said they wanted to enhance bilateral economic cooperation, especially in the fields of renewable energy, oil, biotechnology and tourism.
