ClinTec hires new executive vice president in US

ClinTec, a UK based clinical research organisation (CRO), has hired Dianne Kikta as new executive vice president in the US.

Kikta is expected to augment ClinTec’s US operations and Global HQ management team to offer prospective pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device client’s guidance on their drug development and resourcing strategy.

Prior to joining the company, Kikta worked for Wyeth for over 20 years, most recently as vice president of Global Clinical Strategic Resourcing where she was responsible for providing strategic oversight of flexible resourcing to efficiently deliver clinical research services, especially through off-shoring and outsourcing.

Kikta said that she was excited to be a part of ClinTec and looks forward to contributing to ClinTec’s future success by applying her experience in global resourcing models and various strategic initiatives from Wyeth.

“Working with ClinTec will allow me to use my numerous years of experience in one company to now influence many aspects of the industry,” Kikta said.

ClinTec Corporate Development senior director Bobby Bal said that they were pleased to have Dianne on board to facilitate the next wave of strategic outsourcing partnerships with their growing US customer base.

“We believe that entering into discussion with the US pharmaceutical industry will help alleviate some of the immediate R&D pressures on cost and productivity and Kikta’s specific experience in global solution development will be of great use to our clients,” Bal said.
