news.Clondalkin Group, an international packaging producer, has named Mark Rooney as chief operating officer for its Specialist Packaging Division.

Rooney has experience in working at management and director levels in the packaging industry within the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, which will support the Clondalkin’s strategic growth plans within these sectors.
Rooney is expected to be responsible for the implementation of operational plans for the division’s 14 operating companies and will drive the performance of its key assets to ensure optimal efficiency across the division.
Rooney is also expected to lead the division’s Kaizen process improvement programmes and will oversee all plant investments and developments across the division, as well as being heavily involved in all aspects of the company’s mergers and acquisition plans across Europe.
