Coldpack has revealed that it is going to preview its latest environmentally friendly pharmaceutical Pouch at the Pack Expo.
The company said that the pouch is equipped with its AirLiner technology to ensure that sensitive pharmaceutical shipments remain within the necessary temperature range of +2°C to +8°C, during the transportation period. The AirLiner uses DuPont’s packaging resins for its patented internal heat-barrier technology to provide thermal performance.
Coldpack is also conducting numerous testing processes in Europe to bring the commercialized product to the North American market.
The company claims that the reusable pouch is ideal for transferring medication to patients; hospital distributions and supply chains; pharmaceutical wholesale distributions; and the shipment of biological samples or other materials
Etienne Snollaerts, CEO of Coldpack, said: “With Coldpack’s new Pharmaceutical Pouch, vaccine and biological materials shippers can trust that their valuable cargo will arrive protected and on temperature. This enhanced product offering is an extension of our commitment to consistently deliver sustainable thermal insulated packaging solutions. The Pharmaceutical Pouch is the first of many new products Coldpack plans to debut in the coming year.”
