news.US-based Coldstream Laboratories has appointed Eric W. Smart as the new president and CEO.

Eric Smart has also worked as executive vice president and was in-charge of business development, marketing and project management teams for the same company.
Smart in his new role, will lead a staff of 75 to assist the development and cGMP manufacture of sterile injectable products for international biotech and pharmaceutical clients, who need small batch sizes for clinical studies and commercial distribution.
Coldstream Laboratories board chairman John Fallone said Smart has been an integral part of Coldstream for the past five years.
"With Mr. Smart’s proven track record and dedication to Coldstream’s success, we are confident that he is the right person to lead Coldstream into its next phase of growth," Fallone added.
Coldstream Laboratories president and CEO Eric Smart said he will use the opportunity for the progression of the company.
