news.China Shijiazhuang Pharmaceutical Group (CSPC) is adopting global supply chain optimization provider Manhattan Associates' warehouse management solution (WMS) at its new distribution center (DC) in Shijiazhuang, China.

The WMS is believed to help CSPC standardize and integrate the warehousing and distribution operations resulting in better efficiency and reduced operating costs.
The pharmaceutical company can also offer third party logistics services to other pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesalers operating in China.
CSPC Zhongcheng Pharmaceuticals CIO Zhang Yinghui said the existing warehouse management solution could not help them meet their short-term or longer-term needs.
"We therefore sought a new solution that would modernize, standardize and fully automate our operations to support the company’s future business strategy," Yinghui added.
