news.Sigma-Aldrich, a life science and high technology company, has signed a distribution agreement with CPC Scientific, a provider of high quality custom peptide synthesis, GMP peptides and peptide active pharmaceutical ingredients for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

Under the terms of the agreement, CPC Scientific will offer Sigma-Aldrich’s PEPscreen custom peptide libraries to life science researchers and pharmaceutical companies in North America.
Sigma-Aldrich has developed a proprietary synthesis platform that enables the high throughput production of milligram quantities of peptides, which are ideal for producing custom peptide libraries applicable to peptide based drug discovery.
Stacey Hoge, senior product manager of Sigma-Aldrich, said: “Our PEPscreen technology enables small scale, early stage drug candidate screenings.
