Datatrak signs agreement with Keypoint

US-based Datatrak International, a technology and services company providing eClinical solutions for the clinical trials industry, has signed a multi-year agreement with the Portuguese contract research organization Keypoint - Consultoria cientifica.

As the newest member of Datatrak’s CRO Connect Program, Keypoint is able to expand its electronic data capture (EDC) capabilities and empower its staff to more efficiently manage both its paper and EDC studies, said Datatrak.

Datatrak noted that its CRO Connect Program is a collaborative initiative with contract research organizations (CROs) that offers the benefits of the company’s eClinical solution through an Enterprise Transfer program. This program reportedly allows CROs to package their services around Datatrak’s eClinical platform in order to gain efficiencies and increased market share.

The CRO Connect Program’s flexible pricing and specialized consulting and professional services provides participants with the tools necessary to realize new growth opportunities, according to Datatrak.

Larry Birch, CEO of Datatrak, said: “We welcome Keypoint as the newest member of the CRO Connect Program. Keypoint joins a growing list of CROs who are benefiting from our Datatrak eClinical platform, specialized pricing and joint marketing of the CRO Connect Program. We look forward to supporting Keypoint as they broaden their service offering and develop new revenue streams utilizing our platform.”
