Delta Industrial will be featuring its new web converting system at ATX West 2010. Demonstration of the Delta Mod-Tech in Booth 4325 will include in-line rotary die-cutting and island placement module (Patent No 7293593, patent pending), said pmpnews.
The company claims that new features can be added to create a custom packaging system. The system comes with process modules for flexographic printing, slitting, sheeting,web steering, laminating, ultrasonic sealing, stacking, conveying, and heat-seal packaging.
The system also contains a new in-line digital printing module that produces serialized numbering, variable data, standard bar-coding, 2-D bar-coding, and variable imaging. The digital print module features four-color CMYK. Delta Edge Laser Technology may also be incorporated for complex geometries, laser ablation, and perforating, reported pmpnews.
