Doe & Ingalls obtains distilled spirits plant permit

Chemical distributor and supply chain services provider Doe & Ingalls has received a Distilled Spirits Plant (DSP) Permit, which allows the company to warehouse and ship tax-free ethyl alcohol (ethanol).

The new permit will enable the company to supply pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies a cGMP-compliant regional storage and stocking option for tightly regulated ethanol products and will also streamline the tax remittance process.

The DSP permit will complement the company’s Industrial Alcohol User Permit, according to the company.

Doe & Ingalls will serve its customers through its three bonded service centers in California, North Carolina and Maryland in US.
