DSM Biomedical, a company into biomedical materials science, has appointed Christophe Dardel as president. Mr Dardel succeeds Mr Steve Hartig, who served as the DSM Biomedical’s president since 2006.

Mr Dardel is expected to oversee the development and execution of its activities in Berkeley, CA, US as well as Geleen, The Netherlands.
Mr Dardel was into developing business models. Most recently, he served as president of DSM Dyneema, the inventor and manufacturer of Dyneema.
Prior to his roles with DSM, Mr Dardel worked in team leadership and senior level management positions for Dyneon, a subsidiary of 3M in The Netherlands, and E.I. du Pont de Nemours for over a decade, based in France, Switzerland and The Netherlands.
Mr Dardel said: “I am honored to have been appointed president of DSM Biomedical. I am excited by the opportunity to drive DSM Biomedical’s next phase of growth and further improving our position.”
