Datatrak appoints vice president of R&D

Datatrak International, a provider of multi-component eClinical solutions and related services, has announced the return of Chris Wilke as vice president of R&D.

Mr Wilke will report directly to Raymond Merk, Datatrak’s CFO and COO, and be integrally involved in the development of the Datatrak eClinical platform.

The company also announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office has approved the issuance of a new US patent which covers methods for unifying data from a plurality of heterogeneous databases, each having business-context related data and a data access mechanism.

Mr Wilke said: “The cornerstone of Datatrak’s business is providing our customers with the tools and technologies necessary to unify their clinical trial processes, and this patent is a clear example of this commitment.

“Whether it is randomization, coding, data entry, data cleaning, reporting or other need, we are continually improving our customer’s ability to manage their own enterprise while providing end users the functionality and ease of use they desire.”
