ecareSoft embeds eLearning in EHR application

ecareSoft, a provider of healthcare IT solutions to small hospitals and their affiliated networks with natively integrated electronic health records (EHR), clinical, and financial solutions, has embedded its EHR application into eLearning.

eCareSoft’s solution is an ONC-ATCB certified complete inpatient EHR solution designed to help small to mid-size hospital groups achieve American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) ‘meaningful use’ stimulus reimbursement.

The system provides connectivity of disparate clinical systems and a shared EHR database creating a community of care network that fosters physician collaboration, quality measures, and evidenced-based guidelines.

With eCareSoft’s enhanced EHR, hospital employees can access the system’s collaborative feature from any point within the application and share ideas, workflow shortcuts and workarounds with their peers for continuous performance improvement.

They can even share feedback regarding the application with eCareSoft’s support team.

ecareSoft COO Deborah Kaufman said their initial idea of embedding eLearning within the application was to reduce adoption hurdles that are inherent to any new software.
