news.Avalon Healthcare, a health insurance company, has signed a provider agreement with Lee Memorial Health System, which includes Lee Memorial Hospital, HealthPark Medical Center, Gulf Coast Hospital, Cape Coral Hospital, The Rehabilitation Hospital, The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, more than 30 physician offices, three outpatient centers, and other services offered by LMHS throughout southwest Florida.

Charles O’Neill, CEO of Avalon Healthcare, said: “A direct relationship with the Lee Memorial Health System (LMHS) provides an important first step in Avalon’s strategy to become an active provider of quality health plans in Lee County.
