news.ePharmaSolutions has installed Version 2.2 of its global 2-way Study Messaging Solution (SMS) for clinical trial patient recruitment and retention.

The company has developed the SMS to programmatically populate and update the patient information and visit schedule to reduce site workload and improve adoption rates throughout the study.
ePharmaSolutions Global Patient Recruitment head Wes Martz said the SMS was designed specifically for global patient recruitment and retention with the sponsor, site, and patient in mind.
"We have more than 12,000 patients in 54 countries using our texting solutions over the last few years and are seeing excellent results in terms of patient retention and compliance," Martz said.
ePharmaSolutions Information Technology VP Steven Beales said they used Web 2.0 technologies to develop the most advanced study messaging solution available.
"Our integrations with leading CTMS and IVRS vendors make it simple to auto-populate study information to reduce site workload and has been incorporated into Patient Recruitment Manager application to provide study teams and sites with interactive recruitment and retention reports from all outreach tactics used on a study," Beales said.
