Visage Imaging signs marketing agreement with Viatronix

Visage Imaging, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercury Computer Systems and provider of advanced visualization and image distribution solutions for clinical and preclinical imaging, has signed a comprehensive marketing agreement with Viatronix, a developer of 2D/3D medical imaging and diagnostic software.

Under the agreement, Visage Imaging will act as a representative for Viatronix’s V3D-Colon virtual colonoscopy product in the US. The agreement expands Viatronix’s domestic marketing arm, while extending Visage Imaging’s applications portfolio for advanced visualization products.

Jim Schumacher, vice president and COO of Visage Imaging, said: “We are excited to be working with Viatronix. Virtual colonoscopy is becoming a requirement within our customer base, and the planned, seamless integration of V3D-Colon with our Visage CS platform is the solution. We are proud to team up with a true market leader in providing this critical technology.”

Zaffar Hayat, CEO and president of Viatronix, said: “We are delighted to enter into this agreement, and believe the integrated solution harnesses the power of both products to deliver maximum benefit to the end user. The timing could not be better because the demand for virtual colonoscopy is growing rapidly in the US.”
