Sigma-Aldrich launches new DNA purification kit

According to the company, the new 96-well kit is suitable for a variety of pharmaceutical and biotechnology research applications, providing rapid purification of plasmid DNA that can generate best-in-class transfection-grade plasmid with the highest viral titers on the market.

Sigma-Aldrich’s Mission shRNA product line, the GenElute HP 96-well plasmid miniprep kit is optimized for demanding downstream transfection protocols. GenElute purified plasmid DNA is suitable for a wide variety of molecular biology applications, including cloning, restriction digestion, in-vitro transcription and translation, and sequencing.

Tim Fleming, director of global commercial marketing for life science at Sigma-Aldrich, said: “This kit extends our GenElute HP product line into the high-throughput plasmid purification market and allows our customers to significantly increase their productivity.”
