Pro-Stat has been shown to be an effective nutritional intervention to aid in the treatment of pressure ulcers, protein energy malnutrition, recent weight loss, hypoalbuminemia, and end stage renal disease patients undergoing hemodialysis. Pro-Stat is said to provide nitrogen-rich, hydrolyzed protein and calories in concentrated liquid form.
