ArthroVision, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Horizon Sciences & Technologies, has reported that the District Court of Munich, Germany, decided that Chondrometrics, a provider of image data post-processing and image analysis services, has not infringed on the German part of ArthroVision's patent that relates to evaluating disease progression by means of magnetic resonance imaging.

The court determined that Chondrometrics software would not make use of claims one and 11 of the ArthroVision’s patent.
ArthroVision plans to promptly appeal in full the not yet final district court’s infringement decision. ArthroVision believes that the first instance judgment of the Munich District Court will be corrected on appeal.
