news.Idaho Technology, a provider of rapid DNA analysis with applications including DNA amplification, real-time PCR and mutation discovery, has signed an agreement with Microbiology International, a laboratory equipment provider, to be the exclusive distributor of the RAPID LT food security system in the US.

According to Idaho Technology, the RAPID LT food security system is a real-time PCR instrument capable of analyzing samples for the presence of targeted nucleic acid sequences and reliably detecting pathogens such as Salmonella, Listeria spp, and E coli O157:H7.
