The Anticoagulation Module is a part of Lumedx’s suite of integrated cardiovascular imaging and information management tools, delivering a robust and unified cardiovascular information systems solution. The Anticoagulation Module is said to empower clinicians by making critical clinical information accessible immediately, improving patient care and safety.
According to the company, the Anticoagulation Module increases efficiency by automating the workflow to track lab values, dosages, complications and more, makes records immediately accessible, on- or off-site, helps satisfy new JCAHO patient safety goals for anticoagulation therapy and promotes quality of data by eliminating hard-to-read handwritten records and redundant data entry.
Rhonda Staton, director of product management at Lumedx, said: “The management of patients taking Coumadin requires access to – and input of – patient information by multiple people in multiple locations. The Anticoagulation Module streamlines this workflow dramatically and ensures up-to-date, safe and efficient patient care.”
