Futura Medical is expecting that the regulatory dossier for CSD500, will allow the CE mark approval process to be completed later in 2010.
Futura Medical said the submission of CE mark is a major milestone for it in the development and commercialisation of CSD500. SSL is now setting up the timing and strategy for the launch of the product.
James Barder, CEO of Futura, said: “The submission of the regulatory dossier for CSD500 is a major milestone for Futura, as the company is now on the threshold of receiving its first recurring revenues from royalty payments on product sales.
“We are close to completing our work on CSD500 as the timing and strategy for the launch of the product are under the control of SSL. However, we will continue to support SSL as appropriate as we make progress on the other opportunities within our pipeline of potential products.”
