Tom started his career as a Financial Controller in Ecco in 1993. In 1996, Tom joined Danfoss, where he held different financial management roles and lived both in the Philippines and in Japan.
Reportedly, he has decided to move to ISS Healthcare as Finance Director in 2002 in Denmark, but soon took on a new international challenge at Brodrene Hartmann in 2004 relocating to their North American operations as VP of finance and administration for three years. In 2007, Tom was promoted to CFO and member of the executive board of Brodrene Hartmann and has been part of a successful turnaround of the Hartmann.
Anders Wilhjelm, president and CEO of GEA Process Engineering, said: “Michael Andersen has been instrumental to the successful development of GEA Process Engineering and it is quite natural for him to move on to new and bigger responsibilities with GEA Group.
“I am, therefore, very pleased that Tom Wrensted will join us as the new CFO. Tom is an experienced CFO who I am convinced will be a valuable addition to our management team.”
