Genalice soon to launch raw DNA sequence data processing software

Genalice, a US-based software solutions developer for DNA analysis, will soon release the beta version of Genalice Map.

The solution Genalice Map can process raw DNA data, which is produced by the sequencers, and stores the data in a small file.

Genalice co-founder and CTO Hans Karten said that the Map can process raw data, produced by sequencers rapidly and cost effectively as well as can also accelerate the alignment process two hundred-fold compared to existing methods.

Genalice CSO Bert Reijmerink said that the Map gives scientists the opportunity for cheaper and faster DNA research and new drug development to tackle complex diseases such as cancer.

"With the launch of MAP – in the summer of this year – we can bring about a major breakthrough in DNA research," Reijmerink added.

Genalice Map can be applicable in the DNA research and cancer drug development.
