General Dynamics Information Technology, a unit of General Dynamics has been awarded the Omnibus III contract by the Army Contracting Command to provide navy medical research support services.

The Navy Medicine Research contract is a five-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, multiple-award contract with a total potential value of $497m to all awardees if all options are exercised.
General Dynamics will provide personnel, materials, equipment, limited facilities, science and technology that will sustain medical research efforts, as per the contract.
General Dynamics will also help Navy Medicine teams address a range of processes including procedures for basic university research, vaccine development, clinical trials and US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) investigational new drug application processing.
