The new kits are a combination of Gentel’s APiX chromogenic detection technology and RayBiotech, collection of more than 55 antibody and protein arrays on a glass-slide format and each kit is configured for use with the Gentel Proteomics Multi-System and Gentel’s AthenaQuant analysis software as an alternative to fluorescent-based detection, the companies said.
Gentel claimed that APiX chromogenic technology allows for the detection of any biotinylated molecule, generating light grey-to-black spots that are visible to the naked eye and can be scanned with the Gentel Proteomics Multi-System.
Gentel president and CEO Alex Vodenlich said that RayBiotech’s collection of high-density, mid-density, and quantitative antibody arrays works seamlessly with their available ELISAs and antibody pairs to form a complete biomarker and proteomics workflow from hypothesis generation to validation.
RayBiotech’s arrays enable investigators in their biomedical research, biomarker and drug discovery and development.
