GlycaNova introduces Ganodex skin cream treatment for eczema and psoriasis

Norway's biotechnology company GlycaNova has launched a new over-the-counter skin cream, known as Ganodex, for the treatment of complaints or symptoms related to eczema and psoriasis.

Developed by GlycaNova researchers over the past four years, Ganodex uses a proprietary triple helix beta glucan extract from medicinal mushroom Ganoderma lucidum as the active ingredient and can be applied on a daily basis.

During initial trial, the 100% natural ingredients based skin cream demonstrated its effectiveness by stimulating and regulating skin cells as well as improving the condition of psoriasis and eczema.

Patients, who used Ganodex, did not report of any side effects such as drying of the skin, when compared to those who used other creams containing cortisone and parabenes.

GlycaNova CEO Bjørn Kristiansen said the product was completely new and natural alternative to steroid-based treatments for psoriasis and eczema sufferers.

"Those who have used Ganodex have experienced such positive results that we are pleased to be able to launch the product online to give wider access to this highly effective treatment," Kristiansen added.
