Medigent DIS of DeltaWare Systems, the Canadian business unit of Maximus, offers up-to-date profiles and information for improved health planning, evaluation and research.
The Medigent DIS will be integrated with pharmacy Point-of-Service systems and physician electronic medical records.
Maximus CEO Richard Montoni said as governments seek to drive efficiencies and quality of care improvements in their overall health delivery systems, Medigent will provide a critical link between pharmacies and physician records, helping health care professionals avoid dangerous drug interactions and duplications of therapy.
