news.Genetic Technologies (GTG) has signed a settlement and license agreement with GeneSeek of Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.

As per the agreement, GeneSeek gained certain non-exclusive rights to a number of GTG patents relating to its non-coding DNA technology. The other terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
Genetic Technologies has filed third formal patent assertion suit against ten companies in the US District Court for the District of Colorado, to which GeneSeek was a counterparty.
GeneSeek is now the fourth counterparty in that case to settle with Genetic Technologies. Discussions with other parties are ongoing and progressing, the companies said.
