The software is believed to aid in pharmaceutical actions, generate efficiencies in stock management and dispensing processes, provide the required information to implement performance and risk management.
In addition, it will also support the ongoing delivery and development of the Medicines Management initiative and e-Prescribing.
JAC Computer Services CEO Rob Tysall-Blay said the system would support all HSC’s trusts and organisations and would enable truly joined-up medications management, besides helping in effective and efficient control of drug usage.
