Botanical Science Technologies will become the subsidiary of IMD Companies.
The marketing plan includes on-line sales services, direct distribution through participating weight-loss centers and licensed consignment agreements with local physician offices and clinics.
Botanical Science offers nutraceuticals and supplements under Golden Laurel Series, Bath & Body, New Golden Laurel Line, anti ageing treatments and kits.
The company uses advanced instrumentation such as spectral analyzers and HPLC to blend natural herbal extracts, specialty ingredients and aromatherapy essential oils with water-based emulsions to manufacture the products.
CEO Saeb Jannoun said the acquisition allows IMD to commence its own program to tackle the country’s obesity problem.
