JS Genetics has launched a new proprietary buccal swab test, XCAT-KS, to diagnose Klinefelter syndrome (KS) and other male sex chromosome aneuploidies.

XCAT-KS is a PCR / pyrosequencing based bloodless test which identifies KS and other male sex chromosome aneuploidies with 100% sensitivity and specificity.
The company said, following receipt of buccal swabs at its CLIA certified laboratory, it will reveal its test results.
The company has also announced that it has received re-accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
Headquartered in US, JS Genetics develops and markets proprietary DNA diagnostic tests for medical conditions in newborns, children, and adolescents.
