AssuriTEA Green is a solvent-based tea extract which provides green tea polyphenols — EGCG, non-EGCG catechins, and non-catechin antioxidants.
Kemin Industries Health division senior vice president Linda Fullmer said the growing safety and regulatory issues, associated with some green tea extracts encouraged the company to develop an all-natural alternative to the solvent-based tea extracts.
"AssuriTEA Green meets the needs of dietary supplement manufacturers seeking a safe, World Friendly green tea powder ingredient that provides the full antioxidant benefits of brewed green tea," Fullmer said.
