news.Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) has prolonged its agreement with UnitedHealthcare Insurance for an additional two years.

Under the terms of the agreement, LabCorp will continue to be the national laboratory for UnitedHealthcare and Oxford Health Plans.
The company will be the laboratory provider for HMO benefit plans of PacifiCare of Colorado, PacifiCare of Arizona, Neighborhood Health Partnership in Florida, and Mid Atlantic Medical Services in Maryland and Virginia.
Chairman and CEO David King said the extension is an important mutual recognition of the benefits that the strategic partnership has brought to both companies.
