Life Technologies said the drug delivery technology is ready for license, as a part of a new out-licensing program.
The product is expected to offer improvement and help in minimizing toxicity in-vivo.
Life Technologies Product Management leader Keith Farnsworth said a single dose of 12.5ug siRNA per kilogram can achieve 50% knock down of a target gene.
"Life Technologies’ new formulations provide the pharmaceutical and biotech industries a viable platform to help develop siRNA drugs that overcome these challenges," Farnsworth said.
