Lonza to offer larch arabinogalactan for immune health

Lonza has announced that updated monograph from the Australian Government's Department of Health and Ageing, and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) opened the market for ResistAid.

According to updated monograph, Larch arabinogalactan is allowed for use in dietary supplements.

The company offers larch arabinogalactan for immune health under the brand name ResistAid.

Current clinical evidence revealed the ability of ResistAid to selectively call upon both the non-specific, cellular response and the adaptive immune response in healthy adults, the company said.

ResistAid enhances the appropriate response to an antigen to provide an immunomodulatory effect.

The product has the ability to enhance the body’s natural immune function during an immune challenge.
