news.Perceptive Informatics, a unit of Parexel International that provides eClinical solutions, has achieved a key milestone as 15 major pharmaceutical firms have deployed its DataLabs Electronic Data Capture (EDC) solution.

The DataLabs EDC solution is believed to simplify workflows and streamline the process from study design to data collection, management, and reporting.
The solution is offered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application, which is supported by Perceptive’s eClinical platform.
The company also has comprehensive eClinical portfolio including Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM) technologies, Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), and Medical Imaging as well as Electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePRO).
Perceptive Informatics president Steve Kent said many biopharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, and clinical sites have realized the potential of EDC owing to its effective clinical development.
"By really listening to customer needs, we have evolved the DataLabs EDC solution to incorporate greater usability, functionality, performance, and scalability capabilities," Kent added.
