news.Marken, a clinical supply chain service provider, has introduced a web based system, Solo, to manage the regulatory, inventory and operational supply chain complexities of clinical trials.

According to the company, Solo helps in the management of its global depot network including receipt of clinical supplies and kits, dispatches, returns, warehouse movements and QA releases.
In addition, the new system which is believed to support the dynamic needs of Marken’s pharmaceutical client base, has been devised to integrate with multiple client-directed IXR (Interactive Reporting) systems.
Marken Clinical Trials Distribution Interim President Frank Wright said Solo addresses to all of their client’s requirements for remote storage and distribution of their clinical trial supplies.
The system is being launched just as Marken is opening its third fully owned and staffed depot facility in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the company said.
