Medidata Q4 revenues up 26%

Medidata Solutions, a provider of SaaS-based clinical technology solutions that enhance the efficiency of clinical development, has posted total revenue of $47.37m for the fourth quarter ended 31 December 2010, an increase of 26%, compared to $37.55m for the same period in 2009.

The company has generated net income of $13.32m, compared to a net income of $1.74m for the same period in 2009.

Medidata has reported operating income of $9.91m for the fourth quarter of 2010, compared to $3.09m for the same period in 2009.

For the full year ended 31 December 2010, the company posted total revenue of $166.43m, compared to $140.4m for the same period in 2009.

The company’s net income was $22.82m, compared to a net income of $5.18m for the same period in 2009.

The company has said that its operating income for the full year ended 31 December 2010 was $23.31m, compared to $8.78m for the same period, last year.
