Medipattern, a Canadian developer of medical software solutions, and Navix Diagnostix, a provider of vascular ultrasound outsourcing solutions, have signed an agreement under which Navix will collect data for the development of Medipattern's vascular imaging tool, VasculariQ.

Medipattern has recently signed an agreement with GE Healthcare to create a set of image quantification tools to help physicians visualize plaque and other conditions that can block the vascular system.
Jeff Collins, CEO of The Medipattern, said: Under the agreement with GE Healthcare, GE and Medipattern have been working on a proof of concept for the vascular quantification tool that we shared with Bob Kane and his colleagues at Navix.
GE Healthcare’s Vascular Ultrasound team is committed to developing new technology to image and analyze vascular disease, increasing diagnostic confidence and speeding patient treatment.
