Merz launches Mederma advanced scar gel

The transparent topical gel which contains Cepalin, the proprietary botanical extract derived from onions, is clinically shown to improve the texture, color, softness and overall appearance of scars.

Merz senoir brand manager Emily Klopp said the idea for Mederma Advanced Scar Gel came from its existing consumer base, who were pleased with the results from Mederma products but wanted a more convenient option for scar management.

"We are excited to introduce a new, once-daily topical gel to our customers by adding Mederma Advanced Scar Gel to the Mederma scar therapy product line," Klopp added.
