Mocon said that units in the Model 3/33 series are expected to offer automatic relative humidity (RH) capability through a new software interface which is helpful to the brand owners to achieve accurate and precise relative humidity conditions.
Mocon claimed that Permatran-W series tests the WVTR of films as well as finished flexible and/or rigid plastic-based packaging.
Mocon stated that a high-precision sensor present in the Permatran-W Model 3/33 Plus provides parts-per-million sensitivity thereby adjusting any deviation from the desired set-point is automatically. Accuracy is gained by incorporating a patented modulated infrared probe within the test cell.
Mocon added that new Permatran-W Model 3/33 Plus series is made available in three different control systems with three satellite modules, with different test capabilities for a maximum of 20 test cells per system.
