MSD India, a subsidiary of Merck and Co., is planing to expand its presence in the Indian market – reported Hindustan Times. The company is currently ascertaining possible joint ventures and acquisition, and is expected to launch two of its patented drugs in India.
Naveen Rao, managing director of MSD, said: “We would launch one drug from our international portfolio in India every three months henceforth.”
The company would launch an osteoporosis drug in October this year, quoted the newspaper.
