According to Mylan, Famciclovir tablets, 125mg, 250mg are the generic version version of Novartis’ Famvir tablets.
Novartis‘ Famvir (famciclovir) is a prescription oral antiviral drug which is indicated for the treatment of recurrent genital herpes, suppression of recurrent genital herpes, treatment of recurrent genital herpes and oral herpes infections in HIV-infected adult patients, treatment of cold sores (Recurrent Herpes Labialis) and for the treatment of shingles (Acute Herpes Zoster).
