The manufacturing plant is expected to produce critical care injectable and oncological drugs and begin operations in 2015.
The 210 acres facility that previously belonged to Pfizer will be redeveloped by NantWorks and is likely to create nearly 234 new jobs by 2016.
NantWorks chairman and CEO Patrick Soon-Shiong said the plant reflects the company’s commitment to making injectable and next generation drugs in America.
