New Mexico Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (NM HITREC) has selected Sage Healthcare Division, a provider of clinical and financial technology solutions, as qualified electronic health records (EHRs) provider in US.

Sage Healthcare Division, which serves more than 400,000 healthcare professionals, including 80,000 physicians in North America, will make its ONC-ATCB certified Sage Intergy Meaningful Use Edition available to the REC’s more than 1,000 participating physicians.
Sage Healthcare Division business development vice president Ken Ernsting said Intergy Meaningful Use Edition is a certified meaningful use software solution designed to empower physicians to advance the quality and efficiency of care they deliver.
"Sage is engaged with many Regional Extension Centers nationwide and welcomes the opportunity to help NM HITREC pursue its goals of helping physicians improve patient care and outcomes," Ernsting said .
NM HITREC LCF Research president Maggie Gunter said the company is working to enroll more than 1,000 qualified healthcare providers throughout the state to help ease their transition to EHRs, and in the last several months more than 600 primary care and family practice providers have enrolled to receive technical assistance to help their practices qualify for EHR.
NM HITREC is a consortium of three nonprofit organizations LCF Research, the New Mexico Medical Review Association (NMMRA), and the New Mexico Primary Care Association.
